Web-based Project Management Tips – Quick TipĀ  #1 – Utilize Tasklists

Tasklists allow for the organization of project related tasks. Each task list expands to display all tasks for a particular project. There are a couple of cool things you can do to customize these tasks.

  • First, you can color label each task by level of priority.
  • Second, you can assign a task to as many people as you like. You never have to waste time copy pasting and reassigning tasks to different individuals.
  • Third, you can assign a due date to the task. If you want the task to be reoccuring, you can set it as an automated task to reassign automatically every day, week or month.
  • Fourth, let’s say you assigned the task and it hasn’t been completed by the due date- you can click “Request Update” right on the task’s options and it will immediately send the task owner a message asking for the status of the task.
